Help Save Embarcadero Plaza and the Vaillancourt Fountain—Your Voice Matters!
San Francisco’s future is being decided, and we need your help. On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department (SFRPD) and BXP will host a critical community meeting at Three Embarcadero Center to discuss the proposed renovation of Embarcadero Plaza and Sue Bierman Park. This may be our final chance to advocate for the preservation of these irreplaceable public spaces.
Why Attend?
Protect Our Heritage: Embarcadero Plaza’s distinctive brickwork and the Vaillancourt Fountain are celebrated Modernist landmarks—integral to San Francisco’s identity.
Demand Real Preservation: Urge city leaders to retain the plaza’s unique brick paving and restore the Vaillancourt Fountain’s recirculating water.
Make Your Voice Heard: Decisions made now will shape the city for generations to come. Your presence and input are vital.
